How to find domain? |
It
is not possible to find free ".com" domain for commonly used words. So we have to look for more unique and this will
take some time. In order to succeed I suggest systematic
approach that I define bellow.
This can take several session and few
days. I guarantee that using this method you will be able
to find huge number of ideas for your domain name to be able to choose from.
You need only following steps:
- Find keywords first
- Prepare cards
- Find names
- Test names
- Register your domain

Keywords |
1. Take list of topics, product and services and description your subject your site is going to address and make a list of keywords from it.
2. Substitute long words with shorter words for example word "perfect" could be replaced by "best"
3. Choose more meaningful words
for group of words that have similar meaning, for example:
"revenue", "income", "increase" could be
replaced by word "profit"
Prepare cards
1. Write following on separated cards
- divide words into syllables and , use dictionary if you are in doubt
- conjunctions such as "and" , "or"
- preposition such as "at", "in", "on", "for"
- abbreviation such as "n" for "and", "mk" for "make"
- vowels "a", "e", "i", "o", "u", y"
- referred endings such as: :".com", "co.uk" and separators "."
- your name, initials
2. Prepare some blank cards to be able to write new words that will come to your mind later.
3. Put all cards on the table

Register your domain
Go to your favorite domain registrars and register it. Sample registrars:
